WORLD FOREST DAY COMMEMORATION & NATIONAL TREE PLANTING CAMPAIGN
DEEPNET-Tanzania (DP-TZ) has joined stakeholders across Tanzania in commemorating the International Day of Forests through a nationwide tree planting campaign aimed at strengthening environmental conservation efforts. The event, held on 21 March, brought together government institutions, researchers, environmental organizations, students, and local communities in a collective effort to protect and restore forest ecosystems.
